The Diploma in Mass Communication programme provides students with a strong foundation in modern media and communication, combining core communication principles with practical, hands-on training in digital media, creative content development, and emerging technologies such as AI-supported production tools. Students are introduced to key areas including broadcasting, public relations and advertising, while developing essential skills in media literacy, content creation, and visual storytelling. Learning is highly practice-oriented, with assessment driven by projects and portfolios that reflect real industry workflows. Through an applied, industry-focused approach with interactive learning and real-world projects, the programme prepares students for professional practice, culminating in a Final Year Project and a 12-week industrial training placement that strengthens employability across the media and communications industry.
Requirements

Pass SPM with minimum 3 Credits (Including English); OR

Pass STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in one subject and a Credit in English at SPM level (or equivalent); OR

Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Governmen
Note*
Candidates with a Pass in English at SPM level (or equivalent), or those without an English subject, are required to take a reinforcement English subject equivalent to SPM level (to be offered before enrolment).
