Job title:

PART TIME ENGLISH LECTURER / FACILITATOR

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities and lessons to help students  improve their English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Work closely with other facilitators / lecturers to ensure smooth operation of the English Courses and effective communication among team members.

• Support the academic department and contribute to the overall development of the university college's English language programmes.

• Develop course materials, supplements, and modifications to existing course materials.

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, revisions and practical (if applicable).

• Prepare students for examinations (if applicable).

• Setting and marking of assignments, tests and examinations (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a degree in the related field

• Preferably with teaching experience in relevant fields.

• Proficiency in English is required.

Job title:

Lecturer-Senior Lecturer-Associate Professor

Responsibilities:

• Advising undergraduate and postgraduate students on their dissertations. (if applicable)

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions etc.

• Prepare / modify / update / upgrade teaching materials e.g. lecture notes,modules, learning units, tutorial worksheets, handouts, etc.

• Ensure that all grades have been submitted by Associate Module Leaders according to the deadlines.

• Set and mark assignments, tests, projects, examination papers, etc.

• Attend and participate actively in school meetings.

• Counsel students under your supervision on academic and non-academicmatters.

• Attend / present papers at seminars / workshops when necessary.

• Contribute articles to internal and external journals, HCTV news and website. (if applicable)

• Present conference papers at local / national / regional level.

• Assist in marketing the school programmes.

• Organise and assist University College events / functions.

• Organise and assist in conducting workshops, talks, etc organised by the school.

• Guide students in the participation of national / regional related contests, projects and campaigns.

• Candidates must possess at least a Master's degree but preferably a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication or in related disciplines.

• Preferably with research / working / teaching experience in relevant fields.

Job title:

Admin Executive

Responsibilities:

· Deal with registration / admissions related matters i.e. prepare student cards, check through duly completed admissions forms and verify whether the information given is correct / complete, key in related information, manage student add / drop course, defer / leave / exemptions matters and procedures etc.
· File / update student records and documents.
· Responsible for registration and admissions on Orientation Day.
· Follow up on new students attendance for each new intake.
· Deal with examination related matters i.e. print exam questions, prepare exam slips, arrange exam venues / schedules / seating, assign invigilators, computation of CGPA and units gained, prepare exam results analysis, etc.
· File / update exam records and documents.
· Compile student data and update e-IPTS system as required by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Malaysian Qualifications Agency, etc.
· Assist in documentation and administrative work pertaining to Regulatory and Compliance section if the need arises.
· Communicate with students regarding registration / admissions / exam / graduation and tracer study matters.
· Deal with enquiries about registration / admission / examination / graduation.
· Liaise with ITS to resolve Registry systems and matters responsible by ITS.
· Liaise with academic / administrative staff on matters pertaining to Registry Department.
· Conduct, compile and report Student Feedback Survey results.
· Attend meetings pertaining to registration / admissions / exam / Graduation and other administrative matters.
· Attend briefing / seminars organized by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Malaysian Qualifications Agency when the need arises
· Take accurate meeting minutes and publish meeting minutes.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an Executive Administrative, Senior Executive or in other secretarial position

Job title:

Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

• Plan marketing strategies and ensure that the student enrolment target of the year is met.
• Responsible for all media marketing strategies implementation and maintenance.
• Organize education fairs, roadshows, school visits.
• Promote the University College academic programmes through various media.
• Plan digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database & social media.
• Oversee the social media and the content strategy of the brands, ensuring all the activities are managed and tracked.
• Meet with school principals / counsellors from time to time to provide updates on the University College academic programmes.
• Deliver talks on topics requested by school principals / counsellors.
• Responsible for visitation from schools & institutions and the reception activities.
• Explore and derive marketing strategies to recruit local and international students.
• Work closely with Academic and survey the market to explore in demand academic programmes.
• Responsible for promotional materials i.e brochures, advertisement, banners, souvenirs, gifts, etc. to ensure appropriateness and with competitive edge.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in the related field.
• Required language(s): Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience.
• Preferably specialized in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent. Knowledge in the Education industry or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
• Possess own transport & willing to travel.

Job title:

Broadcast Journalist

Responsibilities:

• Generating ideas for stories and features and following leads from news agencies and other sources.
• Pitching ideas to editors and commissioners.
• Researching, verifying and collating evidence and information to support a story using relevant information sources such as the internet, archives, databases, etc.
• Writing scripts for bulletins, headlines and reports.
• Selecting appropriate locations, pictures and sound and exercising editorial judgement on the best angle from which to approach a story.
• Identifying necessary resources and deploying and managing technical crews for location shoots, including sound operators and camera crew.
• Providing directorial input, advising crews on what to film or record.
• Using portable digital video (DV) cameras and other equipment to record material
• Producing complete packages for broadcast
• Preparing and presenting material on air for both pre-recorded and live pieces
I• dentifying potential interviewees, briefing them, preparing interview questions and conducting both live and recorded interviews
• Preparing timings for each news item and monitoring these during broadcast

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
• Minimum 1 year professional experience as a journalist
• Exceptional writing, research, and interviewing skills
• Capable of maintaining an ethical and objective standard in reporting
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information
• Excellent observation and judgment skills
• Superb communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information
 

Job title:

Studio Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with troubleshooting and/or proper use of Broadcast equipment and accessories and studio equipment.
• Check-in equipment and ensure items are returned in working order.
• Research, troubleshoot, and perform routine equipment checks & general maintenance.
• Communicate Centre policies and procedures to students, regarding equipment sign-out, gallery reservations, studio booking, and general facility use.
• To Ensure that the conditions of the studios and equipment areas are kept neat, clean, orderly, and properly functioning at all times.
• Receive, verify, and stock consumable deliveries such as seamless, batteries and etc.
• Perform daily and seasonal facility maintenance and repair.
• Troubleshoot emergencies and report any major issues to a manager on duty.
• Mentor and supervise student crews.
• Guide student helper with day-to-day departmental policies and procedures.
• Provide support for Center initiatives as requested, preparing and installing exhibitions, and special events such as Open day etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in broadcasting or a related etc
• Excellent communication, interpersonal
• Strong initiative and work ethic, ability to think creatively and work independently
• Advanced knowledge of ideograph equipment and related studio equipment an added advantage
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and/or mechanical issues with cameras and studio equipment
Intermediate knowledge of studio lighting
